Lightbringer

If I may.. speak freely, from my perspective.. I believe this piece shows how blind society is, that freedom is an overrated and abused power that Man has sought and now own. Humanity is trying to be good, the light he is holding, could be symbolizing his soul?.. The apple or fruit on the other hand, could symbolize or allude to the knowledge of good & evil, referred in the Theistic belief of an omniscient being, our creator... Lastly, the serpent around his waste symbolizes temptation Man is put through in order to be tested of his Faith... The serpent, tightening around him, not too much, nor too little, more of a bondage that is... Imperfection. And the Torch, he is trying to find his way through this very dark.. and cold world... Please forgive me for the long comment.. This really caught my attention, as well as your description.. I love how your work is very... conceptual.
