Shinigami Light

Well, this is loosely connected to Death Note: It's a concept how Light could look as a shinigami.

For some reasons I thought about deserts while drawing this...maybe because the shinigami realm is a lot of wasteland? Maybe because the world would most likely look like that when Light is done with killing the evil? Maybe because of 'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!' (if anyone knows that).

And I have no idea what he's guarding, why he's guarding a desert. Maybe a punishment, maybe because there was something important, maybe because he went crazy. Decide on your own.
